JEFF LAIRD - EOND ASSISTANT TO THE SUPERINTENDENT
Jeff comes to the EOND District Office from Stouffville, Ontario. He grew up in Scarborough and, as a pre-teen, moved north to the Uxbridge-Stouffville area.
After Jeff’s graduation from EPBC in 1991, he married his wife Helen, and they have been serving in full time ministry for over 30 years. Jeff began ministry at Stouffville Pentecostal Church as Youth Pastor in 1991. In 1999, the Lairds moved to Ottawa where Jeff served as Worship Pastor at Woodvale Pentecostal Church, followed by Glad Tidings Burlington as Assistant Pastor from 2006 to 2009.
The Laird family returned to Stouffville Pentecostal Church in 2009, where Jeff has served as Lead Pastor for the last 13 years. They oversaw the construction of a new church building in 2018, and Jeff has served as Presbyter of the York Toronto North Section for the past five years.
Jeff and Helen have 3 grown sons and 2 daughters in law. They love cheering for all the Toronto sports teams and, as musicians, enjoy leading worship together as a family.
Jeff has a desire to see believers of all ages activated into service through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. An important life verse for him is Romans 8:14 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”

He has been attending Gateway Church in London, Ontario since 1983 and has served in many leadership roles including board chair, worship leader and interim pastor over those years. UPPER ROOM ARTS
THE BOOK OF DANIEL is an immersive one-man theatrical experience that brings an ancient story of faith under pressure into the room—right now.
Through vivid storytelling and live audience participation, this production faithfully follows the biblical account, inviting the audience inside the action! As empires rise and the lions draw near, you aren't just watching a story; you are a witness and an exile caught in the choices of a man who refuses to bend.
This is a fast-moving collision of humor, fear, and resolve—a performance crafted as much for the skeptic as it is for the believer.
THE BOOK OF DANIEL is designed to be a powerful spiritual experience that challenges, encourages, and leaves no one unchanged. It speaks to the universal cost of conviction, reminding us that faithfulness in the face of the impossible doesn't just survive history—it changes it.
