The Eastern Ontario and Nunavut District is happy to announce the return of Family Camp. Family Camp will look different this summer due to Pastor Craig's transition, and a new format coming out of Covid.


We are featuring three Family Encounter Weekends consisting of Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening ministry. In addition, there will be two weeks of morning Bible teaching in the Tabernacle from Monday to Friday.

Weekend One: July 15th to July 17th


John Raymer - SPEAKER

Rev. John Raymer began ministry in 1978. John has pastored four churches and successfully planted two churches. He has also travelled extensively  as an evangelist and ministered with signs and miracles throughout Canada and globally.  His message continues to encourage the church to enter into the fullness of Holy Spirit and receive from Him in our everyday lives.  John continues as an itinerant minister, bringing the message of faith and hope to this generation both young and old.


Caleb and Stephanie Courtney - WORSHIP

Caleb and Stephanie Courtney love to see the church united in worship. They have served as worship leaders in various PAOC churches and district camps for more than 20 years. Caleb is a secondary school teacher, and enjoys learning and writing about Canadian Pentecostal history. He recently co-authored a book, Canadian Pentecostal Reader: The First Generation of Pentecostal Voices in Canada, 1907-1925 (CPT Press, 2021). Stephanie is a former elementary school teacher, and volunteers with the local Pregnancy Options & Support Centre. Since 2005, Caleb and Stephanie have jointly provided leadership to the music ministry at their home church, Bethel Pentecostal Church, in Sarnia, Ontario. They have four children: Olivia, Samuel, Marcus, and Joel.

Weekend Two: July 22nd to July 24th


Derrick Hamre - SPEAKER

In 2014 Derrick became the lead pastor at Christian Life Assembly in Langley, a congregation of 3,000 people with multiple campuses. Their focus is on building a missional church in a post-Christian culture. Derrick has been involved in partnership with French Canada and the Arctic and helps raise $1 million a year for global missions. He serves on the BC & Yukon District Leadership Team. He works in tandem with the National Revitalization Team and is a revitalization coach. He desires to see the Church brought to health and multiplication. He is passionate about prayer and the truths in God’s Word. Derrick and Sara-Lee (Gaetz) have been married for 31 years and have three children and two grandchildren.


Steve and Jessica Aud - WORSHIP

Steve Aud has served in many different pastoral roles throughout the past 15 years.  Currently  Steve is serving as the pastor of worship and creative arts at Community Pentecostal Church in Orleans. Steve and Jessica believe that worship is a corporate experience which crosses generational boundaries, with the sole purpose of lifting Jesus higher.

Leon Van Weerden -

Pastor Léon’s heart’s desire is to be an example and inspiration to others on how to live a God-centered, people loving life. He is the Lead Pastor at The Embassy Church in Oshawa. Before immigrating to Canada in 2016, Léon not only Pastored a church in the Netherlands, but also planted a second church. He’s a conference speaker, and the author of two books. Léon and his wife Petra are proud parents of two daughters and two sons.


Mark Devanathan -

Pastor Mark was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Canada when he was 8 years old. He was raised in a Christian home and made his personal decision to follow Jesus Christ at the age of 13. After serving as the Assistant Music Director, Young Adults Pastor and planting a church at the University of Toronto (Campus Church), Mark now serves as the Lead Pastor at Malvern Christian Assembly. He enjoys spending time with his family, making music and tackling DIY projects around the house. But nothing brings him more joy than seeing people far from God come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.


Adam Gilfillan -

As a Mission Canada worker desiring to impact the next generation of Canada’s youth, Adam’s heart is to engage with students and staff on high school campuses across our nation. Adam and his wife Rachel, and their four children have called Ottawa since 2008. In 2017, Adam made the decision to leave his full time employment and respond to a calling for him to broaden his reach and messaging. Adam’s message is one of hope for the next generation, as well as for those who work directly with them. He communicates with the demeanour of a coach and one who sincerely cares as he helps others to know how they can live their best life ever, and discover their story and reason for life


Tricia Gibb -

Tricia Gibb has served at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Sarnia, Ontario for the past 17 years, currently as Assistant Pastor. Following God’s call has taken her to foreign nations, teaching and preaching to every age group in Churches, camps, schools, and orphanages. Tricia’s greatest passion is to mentor young leaders, helping them to live out God’s calling in their generation.
