The Eastern Ontario and Nunavut District is so excited to share that children will have a new opportunity taking place at LPC this summer. During the past two summers overnight camps were absent, but in 2022 they will return and look a little different but we promise your children will still have an amazing camp experience.
You might have a question or two about the new overnight experience so Bev and her team have created a FAQ section with the hopes of answering some of your important questions. This can be found further below.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO CHILDREN REGISTER?
This will now be done by the children/family ministries pastor/leader, so students will now register through their church and not the camp.
CAN CHILDREN STILL ATTEND IF THEY DON'T ATTEND A PAOC CHURCH OR HAVE A CHILD PASTOR?
Of course! Everyone is welcome to attend If a child finds themselves in this situation please contact Bev and Candace and they will do our best to direct you to the closest local church or one they have a relationship with to register with that group.
HOW DOES A CHILDREN/FAMILY PASTOR REGISTER A GROUP?
Similar to our other Children Ministry Connect events, once the your pastor/leader has their registration list, they will then go online and register their group along with their leaders.
WHEN IS LPC KIDS ENCOUNTER?
August 12-14th, 2022
WHAT DOES THE SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
The length of camp has been shortened but children will still experience many of the same activities. Children will participate in encounters, group devotions, sports, late night and more. Some of the activities will happen by church groups but other components will be in mixed team with campers from other churches.
WHY IS THE SCHEDULE SHORTER?
Due to the impact of Covid-19 we believe a weekend model is more attainable during this season of uncertainty. We also believe the weekend model creates more opportunities for ministry leaders to get time off from work to invest in students.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS WEEKEND COST?
The local churches will set the final registration cost for their students/leaders which should include the registration fee, accommodations and transportation (if applicable).
